Policy

• New students will be assessed in a trial class and based on the instructors recommendation placed in an appropriate class.
• Chewing gum and candy will not be allowed while class is in session.
• Disrespectful behavior or bad conduct will not be tolerated.  If this behaviour continues, the child will be asked to sit out and may be dropped from the class/team.
• Cell phones must be turned OFF during class.
• Parents are welcome to view/review the class progress however if it appears to hinder the progress of their child, they may be asked to view only during the  last 10 minutes of class.
• Choreography taught in class may not be copied nor taught to anyone else unless Aashiyaana is aware and acknowledged at the performance.
• Missed or Cancelled Classes:  If Aashiyaana classes are in session  and you are unable to attend a class, please notify your instructor via email/phone in advance.  Although there are no separate make-up classes for individual missed classes, upon the student’s return, the teacher will make every effort to catch the student up to class speed.  NO REFUNDS ARE GIVEN FOR MISSED CLASSES.

If the instructor cancels class due to inclement weather, an emergency, or any other unforeseen reason, a make-up class will be scheduled.  No refunds will be given if you do not attend a make-up class.
